External style sheets

To make a link to a style sheet, you can use the relation link command of the document header properties.

  1. Click on the Edit links button on the CSS tab.
    A window is displayed in the preview window. The style sheets linked to the current document are displayed. If the area is empty, that means that no style sheet is attached to the document.

  2. Click on the Add button. The Open file(s) dialog box is displayed..

  3. Select the desired file and click on the Open button.
    Links to external style sheets
    appears again. The selected file name appears in the field located to the left of the Open file(s) button.

  4. Click on the Add button to add it to the list.

  5. Click on the Ok button when you finish.

Inside the header of document <HEAD> </HEAD> AceHTML automatically inserts the following command line:

To modify an external style sheet:

  1. While the Links to external style sheets window is displayed, click on the style sheet to be modified to select it.
    The file .css name is copied in the bottom area of the display.

  2. Click on the Modified button
    The links to External style sheets window appears.

  3. Make the desired changes with the aid of the Style sheet Wizard.

To delete a link to an external style sheet:

  1. While links to External style sheets window is displayed, click on the style sheet to be modified to select it.
    The file .css name is copied to the bottom area of the display.

  2. Click on the Delete button.
    The corresponding file name disappears from the list and the related command in the edit window.

You can also erase the command line directly in the edit window.
